Streamline and accelerate your purchasing process with a single tap of your debit card. Simply hold your card in front of a supporting reader at the checkout, eliminating the need to insert your card or enter your PIN. Your purchase will be debited instantly from your bank account. It's quick and secure!

Contactless payments employ transaction limits to keep your money safe:
  • Single Transaction Limit - the maximum amount per purchase is $250. If your purchase is above this limit, you will be prompted to complete your transaction by inserting your card and entering your PIN.
  • Cumulative Total Spend Limit - once the cumulative total spend of $400 is reached (regardless of the time it takes to reach that limit), you will be asked to insert your card and enter your PIN to complete the transaction. Inserting the Chip & PIN to complete a transaction will reset the cumulative spend limit.

You are also protected from any losses due to unauthorized transactions under the Interac Zero Liability policy, providing peace of mind for you and your transactions. For your part, it is important that you:
  • Prevent others from using or accessing your card - keep it safe and within your control
  • Always protect your PIN and never disclose it to anyone
  • Monitor your accounts and immediately report any suspicious activity
  • Immediately report your card if it becomes lost or stolen
What do I do if my MemberCard is lost or stolen?
In the event of a lost or stolen MemberCard, please rest assured that you can reach out to us promptly:

Will I be able to use my MemberCard while travelling?

Diamond North recommends that you notify us of your travels outside of Canada at least a week prior to your trip. This ensures you have full access to your funds and can use your MemberCard abroad. Simply visit us in person or give us a call at 1-855-862-4242 and provide the details of the countries/US states you will be visiting along with your travel dates.

Travel tips for Card Services

  • Cash withdrawal limit is $800 per day
    • Please note ATMs may have limits different than Diamond North's limits
  • Foreign currency debit transactions may be impacted by the currency conversion rate. A 2.5% administration fee is added to the transaction amount presented for authorization on your account
    • Additional fees may be charged by ATM owners as part of the transaction amount
    • Additional fees may be reflected in month end service charge fees depending on account type
  • Savings accounts will not work out of country

Debit Card Management now available!


Debit Card Management allows members the ability to disable and enable their active debit card to prevent unauthorized or unwanted use of their card. The cardholder selects which transaction locks they wish to disable or enable.

Disabling or enabling transaction locks is immediate.

This feature is available to all users of digital banking through desktop computer access or the Apple or Android app:
Desktop Computer:
  • Login to digital banking
  • Under Accounts, under Cards, select Manage debit cards
  • Select a card if you have more than one available
  • Use the toggle to lock/unlock the card or specific transactions

Mobile App:

  • Login to the app
  • Click on …More
  • Select Manage debit cards
  • Select a card if you have more than one available
  • Use the toggle to lock/unlock the card or specific transactions

There are 10 locks that can be utilized:
  • Lock/Unlock debit card - to prevent ALL transactions
  • Lock/Unlock domestic ATM transactions (within Canada)
  • Lock/Unlock domestic Point of Sale (POS) transactions (within Canada)
  • Lock/Unlock international ATM transactions (outside Canada)
  • Lock/Unlock international Point of Sale (POS) transactions (outside Canada)
  • Lock/Unlock contactless payment (Tap using physical card)
  • Lock/Unlock contactless smartcard payment (Tap using Mobile Pay)
  • Set POS and ATM per-transaction limits
  • Lock/Unlock transactions by Canadian provinces/territories
  • Lock/Unlock transactions by merchant category
